The first event of the 2008 season had a great turnout, to the point of establishing our first ever stand-by list.

The event started slightly late as we continue to have lateness issues. Ideas on addressing this are in the poll, so make sure you vote! Dan was the first player busted out of the 2008 season a mere 5 minutes into the tournament by Louis.

There was a steady stream of players being busted out throughout the evening until the top 5 of Louis, Marc, Pierre, Sean and Joe. Louis and Marc held on as long as possible but succumbed with their low stacks. Joe maneuvered himself to top spot to win the first event of of the season. Congratulations.
