The “Johnny” show…
 

It was back in the garage one last time before the summer mosquito season for the May CLPT event.  A good complement of 23 players participated in this event. 
 
The tight play of our normally aggressive rebuy contingent led to our shortest event ever coming in at 4 hours.  A big thank you to everyone for arriving on time which let us begin on time and get the first game over by 11pm.
 

The final table consisted of a good contingent of regulars, with a touch of a family affair in the top 5 by Carole and Joe.  Scott continued his consistent play with a good 4th place finish, while Doug put his home field advantage to good use by placing a solid third place to accompany his runner-up finish in the April event.  Carole gave it a good go, but it was Johnny’s night “again” by literally running over the competition by taking out half the field of players, and ended up 1st once again for his second win of the season and takes a good lead on the CLPT leader board
