2018 Season Begins

The CLPT begins its 13th season on January 5th, 2018.

Buy-in will be 40$ as well as rebuys.  Both buy-ins and rebuys will be receive a $6000 stack.

Events begin at 7:00pm sharp.

Please bring snacks to share with others if you enjoy them yourself.

We are looking for new players who can attend on a regular basis.  Please advise us if you have any potential players in mind.

2018 Changes

Fine tune the “pay attention” rule. A player who bets or calls by releasing chips into the pot and is unaware that the pot has been raised has two options:

  1. Pay the penalty and forfeits their hand or
  2. Call the correct amount and continue play

The penalty is the big blind or 500$, whichever is smallest.  The change is a cap on the penalty and to clarify it’s the big blind and not the re-raised amount.

The ante in rounds 5, 6 and 7 are eliminated.  Antes begin in round 8 at 100$

There will be two fewer events as we aim for 16 events. (1 in January and 1 in April).
